BOOTS AND BRIDLES 2026 Reviewed by ANDRE BEAUMONT Boots: It's hard to fill the boots of the real thing Bridles: Necromancer, trained by a good fillies trainer, Ralph Beckett Everyone tries, though it's a country music themed event in cloudy England Where the horses are faster than mustangs .... and the turf green and pleasant in a scorched summer Winner of the first race, China In Your Hand, on Newmarket's July Course The day's racing programme The second race, the Aphrodite, was the serious race of the meeting and there is a little clip of Brielle winning: [1] The winner, Brielle, in ithe winners' enclosure In the third race the eventual winner, Where's Freddy, threw his rider just after leaving the parade ring and so his jockey, Marco Ghiani, walked him the 7 furlongs to the start. Where's Freddy in the background The eventual third placed horse, Warrior Mode, on the way down to the start The winner home and dry in the enclosure The fourth race looked as if it had had a horse going lame as it passed the finish line after the race but that proved to not be the case.
